Dr. Klotz has been a life-long resident of New York and has spent most of his career in the Metropolitan NYC area. He has over 30 years of experience as a board certified Gastroenterologist. He graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital. Dr. Klotz then went on to complete his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at New York Medicine College. Prior to joining Auburn Memorial Medical Services and establishing the Auburn Gastroenterology practice, Dr. Klotz had a private practice in Long Island and was a physician in the Queens Long Island Medical Group. Dr. Klotz performs screening and diagnostic endoscopies and colonoscopies and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and complications of the gastrointestinal (digestive) tract, treating conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux (heartburn), hepatitis, and liver disease. Dr. Klotz also enjoys lecturing and educating the public on digestive health issues.
