Marge Tracy, CNM
Marge is a native of Auburn who began her career in 1974 as a Registered Nurse. Her interest is women’s health and family centered maternity care began with the birth of her first child in 1977. She worked for 25 years as a hospital nurse, childbirth educator, lactation consultant, and maternal/child public health nurse. She returned to school in 1995 to pursue her dream of becoming a midwife.
Marge received a BS in Nursing from Syracuse University and a MS in Midwifery from SUNY Stony Brook. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and New York State Association of Licensed Midwives. She has been practicing midwifery since 1999. Her goal was and continues to be making women’s health care safe, personal and accessible to all the women in our community.
Marge resides in Auburn with her husband Bill. She has 3 children and is “Nana” to 6 grandchildren. She loves to read, cook, bake and garden. She also takes great pleasure in walking “in the park” and seeing many of the babies she has helped into the world.
